Allan and Cindy are more than business owners, they are part of the community. Allan belongs to the Rotary Club, and Cindy the Woman's Club. Both Shallotte and Southport Cleaners are members of their respective chamber of commerce, and you can frequently see Allan and Cindy participating in fund-raising events in and around the area for charities, including Relay 4 Life, and they offer free cleaning services for the Coats for Kids program by Communities in Schools. Allan is the District II director for the North Carolina Association of Launders and Cleaners, and has received the coveted Community Service award from the Rotary Club.
