Established in 1947, Shallotte cleaners is an
icon to the community. With a reputation for excellence and
service, Shallotte cleaners has become the communities first
choice for dry cleaning, preservations and restoration
services. In 1997 the cleaners was
acquired by Allan and Cindy Cheatham, and both have worked
endlessly to maintain the outstanding reputation of the
cleaners. In addition, they opened Southport Cleaners to enable
those in the Southport/Oak Island area to enjoy the excellent
array of services and dedication that are available. Don't be
surprised to see another Cheatham cleaners opening up somewhere
else in the community!
Allan and Cindy are more than business owners,
they are part of the community. Allan belongs to the Rotary
Club, and Cindy the
Woman's Club. Both Shallotte and
Southport Cleaners are members of their respective chamber of
commerce, and you can frequently see Allan and Cindy
participating in fund-raising events in and around the area for
charities, including
Relay 4 Life, and they offer free cleaning services for the
Coats for Kids program by Communities in Schools. Allan
is the District II director for the North Carolina Association
of Launders and Cleaners, and has received the coveted Community
Service award from the Rotary Club.
Because of Allan and Cindy's involvement and
love for their community, and their dedication to providing
nothing less than the highest level of service, they want
nothing more than for you to be satisfied with the work that
they do. Whether it is a dress shirt, comforter or wedding
dress, bring it to Shallotte or Southport Cleaners. Become part
of our family, and let us serve you. |
